Alejandro Vivero Cruz (1992 Bogotá, Colombia) I began mine musical studies in 2010 at the Fernando Sor School of Music where I graduated in the emphasis of Music Production in 2014. In that same year I entered the Central University with emphasis of Composition. in 2019 receives his undergraduate degree with meritorious mention.
I have performed mine work as a composer in the short Project Zulia (2012), in the short film 7/22/1519 (2014), in the anthem of the UniHorizonte University Foundation (2015), and mine work for string quartet Un Sueño, Un frenzy, Una ilusión (2015) was selected to be read in the workshop of the Quatuor Voce quartet of the Central University. In 2017, I took an active part in the Composition Conference of the CCMC and composed the music for the short film Encuentro con el Olvido (2017-2018). In 2018 he completed a diploma in Music Composition for film at the Pontifical Javeriana University. In 2019 I composed the small Colombian suite for double bass entitled Crusades premiered at the Bogotá theater by the sincopados quintet.
In 2015 I entered as bassist and arranger of the group The Groove lions with which he has participated in different festivals and events in the city of Bogotá. In 2016, I'm part of the Ensamble Hemiola, a Colombian music group where I participate as an arranger, composer and bassist, the ensemble has participated in several national competitions such as the Colono de oro 2018 (Florencia, Caquetá), the aisle festival (Aguadas, Caldas) , the Mono Núñez festival (Geneva, Valle) and in 2020 it received first place in the Chamber Groups category of the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra call. In 2019 I joined the Hip-Hop band La Fucking Banda as a double bass player. In 2021 I produced the album Suite Pombo of the Bogota group Marea Lunar and my work Las birds de Chiminigagua for guitar quartet was selected in the Call for Scores call of the KUIKANI quartet (Mexico City) to be part of his second record production.
